Women: Embracing Your Sexuality - Part 1

After traveling on a cruise off the coast of Miami for a few days, I walked into my cabin along with my girlfriend Danielle, and we saw on our bed, the book The Four Hour Body, by Tim Ferris.

We were exhausted, but had just had the experience of a lifetime.

The last few days featured an eclectic mix of speakers like Richard Branson, Tony Hsieh of Zappos, Tim Ferris and Russel Simmons. And we were serenaded with nightly jam sessions by the The Roots, DJ Cassidy, ?uestlove and Axwell.

This was no ordinary cruise, of course… it was Summit Series at Sea: think of it like the economic world forum in Davos – but for the brightest young entrepreneurs around the world.

Somehow, I was on board too, and while I’m a huge fan of Tim Ferris and his book The Four Hour Work Week, his new book didn’t seem to entice me very much.

But, seeing how this book was given to me free already, who was I to avoid the potential wisdom I might find between the pages?

So I cracked it open about a week later and as I got to the chapter on The 15 Minute Female Orgasm, I realized that our next guest speaker, Christina Berkely is intimately familiar with all of these techniques.

In fact, my hunt for the best teachers on female sexuality led me to the same places Tim Ferris did and that’s how I met Christina.

And that’s where this story begins…

So I decided to include a small excerpt from the book The Four Hour Body by Tim Ferris where he discusses the origins of this research… and in the next few days, I’ll explain how this relates to my story with Christina and how I met her.

Excerpt from The Four Hour Body – by Tim Ferris

Origins: More University

“Lafayette Morehouse was established by Dr. Victor Baranco in 1968 on Purson Lane in Lafayette, California.

Operating as More University from 1977 to 1997, it was a commune founded on the ideal of “responsible hedonism.” The residents painted the buildings and automobiles on the property purple, and their newsletter explained the rationale:

We tell people that all the houses here are purple so that there is no mistake that one has changed realities should they wander onto our property.

If people missed the purple, there were other warning signs for wanderers.

In the 1960s, Baranco and his wife, Susie, began researching how to improve their sex lives. Both believed that amount of sensual pleasure available to an individual far exceeded the expectations commonly held by society.

In 1976, after more than a decade of experimentation they blew the floodgates open by giving the first public demonstration of female orgasm. It lasted three hours. That's a genital Dances With Wolves. The female student demonstrated the orgasm, Diana, recalled the result it had on the wall-to-wall audience;

When that demonstration was over, people ran to every available space on the property so that they could get off, to… Get the women off! It was really the women.

Not surprisingly, students flock to Morehouse.

Two students of the Morehouse method for extending orgasm were Drs. Steve and Vera Bodansky, founders of the Doing Method I had taken for a test drive.

Another was Ray Vetterlein, who took his first class at Morehouse in 1968, eight years before the public demo. He earned its highest private qualification in 1989 and he has been refining his methods ever since… for more than 40 years.”

It is possible - even with all the sexual liberation and newfound independence women have gained – that they aren’t reaching their full sexual potential?

The answer is yes. By a long shot.
