Embracing Your Sexuality - Part 3

Christina is the Frankenstein of sensuality.
I came to realize this after asking her “so what do plan to teach your Vibe Society students on May 19?” during a cocktail event.
Her eyes lit up as she began explaining how she’s discovered Hypnotist Steven Gilligan’s generative trance therapy and how her extensive background in Orgasmic Meditation – which combines Zen Buddhism and mystical Judaism, to name a few - might possibly be combined to take our students on the ultimate mental journey.
“But I’m not sure - I still really want to keep it organic and interactive” she paused.
Our discussion ran from personal influences of porn star Sasha Gray to Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). She also explained how her recent national media attention is keeping her too busy to create a detailed syllabus for marketing purposes.
Then she broke away to dance an Argentinean Tango with her partner that embraced the kind of physical sensuality she teaches. As my girlfriend Danielle watched them glide across the floor in step, she couldn’t help but be inspired.
“I want to learn to dance Tango!” she remarked.
Before we left that night, I promised Christina I’d try to convey the spirit of her curriculum to you...
Our One Year Celebration of Women
Back in April of 2010, when I first met Christina, Vibe Society for women was a mere one month old.
We had a mere 32 members and our first event featured Ducky Doolittle, who answered sex questions from each member and proclaimed, “our Vajayjay is the center of the f’n universe!”
Then she gave out gift bags to each and every girl.
Good times.
Now, I always pride myself on being able to bring in the best of the best. Doesn’t matter if they’re world famous or a complete unknown. As a fellow extremist, I’ve studied with some of the best, so to say I’m a tough critic is being modest.
Content is king.
In the last blog I wrote about when I met Christina Berkley a year ago, as she hosted a OneTaste meetup.
Side note: even though she left OneTaste over a half year ago, they just haven’t been able to another director who can measure up. So up they simply stopped running events in NYC.
It’s never been the same without her.
Anyway, back then I told Christina I’d love to bring her in someday…. I told her that we just did an event around the sex topic, so it was too early to do another one since we’re about more than just that... I told her we were still a small group and we’d have more members in a few months or so.
Recently, I’ve been saving her for a special occasion.
This May 19 Sensuality Workshop officially marks the one year anniversary for Vibe Society for Women. And I can’t think of a better way for us all to ring that new year bell.
So this is your official invitation to join our one year celebration with Christina but most importantly, with our members – both new and familiar.
Curious how our next Workshop applies to your hectic schedules, your new diet goals or weird relationship challenge? My question to you is this.
Ever heard of the concept of transference?
Well, since this story started with an excerpt from Tim Ferris’ 4 Hour Body, I thought we’d close it out the same way.
Becoming Complete – from 4 Hour Body, by Tim Ferris
“In 2007, I was interviewed for the monthly newsletter of Eben Pagan who runs a $30 million per year relationship-advice empire. One of his first questions was:
“What’s the fastest way for someone to improve their inner game?”
To which I responded:
“Improve your outer game.”
If you want to be more confident or effective, rather than relying on easily-defeated positive thinking and mental gymnastics, learn to run faster, lift more than your peers, or lose that last ten pounds. It’s measureable, it’s clear, you can’t lie to yourself. It therefore works.
Recall Richard Branson’s answer to the question “How do you become more productive?”: work out.
The Cartesian separation of mind and body is false. They’re reciprocal. Start with the precision of changing physical reality and a domino effect will often take care of the internal.
…
Controlling your body puts you in the driver’s seat.
Fifteen months after giving birth to her first child, Dara Torres took home the U.S. Nationals gold medal in the 100-meter freestyle… at age 40. Three days later she broke her own record in the youth-dominated 50-meter freestyle, a record she’d set at age 15.
…
Refuse to accept partial completeness.
Take the next step: uncap a pen and take inventory of all the things in the physical realm that you’ve resigned yourself to being poor at. Now ask: if I couldn’t fail, what would I want to be exceptional at? Circle these alternate realities.
This list, circles starting back at you, gives you a blueprint for not just a new body, but an entirely new life.
It’s never too late to reinvent yourself.
Computer scientist Alan Kay once said, “The best way to predict the future is to reinvent it.”
Where will you start?”

Eye Gazing Party
FYI: A great friend and past speaker at Vibe Society, Christina Berkley, is holding an event we'd like to share with you.
In the meantime, VS will be back shortly. We are currently working on more events and fresh, powerful content. The wait will be worth it....
+++++++
EYE GAZING PARTY
Asking her where she's from does NOT create attraction. Telling him you're a paralegal does NOT make him want you right then and there. Eye contact DOES. At this event, an even number of singles will meet in an attractive space. After a fun mini-lesson in the art and psychology of eye contact, the group will split into pairs, each of whom will spend up to two minutes looking into each other’s eyes. There is no talking, no shuffling, no nothing but space and heat and electricity. Pairs will switch every one to two minutes, for a total of around half an hour. Afterwards there will be a few games followed by music and mingling. Two minutes of eye contact is the Cadillac of ice-breakers. Come break the ice at Reflections After Dark.
Date: Tuesday, November 15th
Time: 8pm-10pm
Cost: $15
Pre-registration is necessary as we try to keep the event as gender balanced as possible. If you would like to come, please contact Christina at christinareflections@gmail.com
Check it out in Time Out Magazine!!

What up mah peeps,
Always enjoy giving a shout out to one of our favorite NYC guests when they are in town. This next week, Jeff Allen (aka Jlaix, aka Jeffy) from Real Social Dynamics is BACK.
They never fail, never disappoint and always deliver... not to mention, the infield video is one of the best ways (besides actually being infield with them) to absorb and get the right "feel" on how it's all supposed to go down... beginning to end.
Not to mention...it's freakin funny.
And not to mention... it's always highly inspiring.
Not to mention...again, it's free. Therefore, more awesome :-)
All RSVP Instructions can be found here: http://vibesociety.com/jeffynyc
For the full details, read Jeffy's email below...
